dressing up

Long time , no see! Hello and welcome back to Liv's Dress Code!Right now I am working on patterns for some dresses and shoes. So in the meantime here are some of my earlier designs.Sorry it's a little fuzzy!Anyway, this dress I mixed some colors. It's fun to do but sometimes risky.Cause it could make a COMPLETELY HORRIFYING color or a gorgeous ,pretty, dainty color. You just need the right colors. I guess I got pretty lucky!Oh yeah, that reminds me, the people who answered the question last time were ………………………..
Annie Dayton and Dian Shumway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy I put 96 exclamation points! This dress was erased time to time and it had a few redesigning. But then I finally ( after many redesigning ) got it. I discovered many new colors with some gross colors and some pretty nice colors. I found what length I wanted it to be, the sleeve design, and her hair and shoes. You will know when a design doesn't click together. The color and design have to work. I know I am not the best designer but I still know if my work is decent. For this design I chose to have it a little below the knee, puffy sleeves, loosey goosey, turquoise green color, boots, and a thin black belt.Well, better get back to designing!Toodles!

  1. That one is very cute. I think I could wear it. Below the knee, puffy sleeves, cinched at the waist and sassy boots? Yes. Hurry up and finish your sewing lessons so you can whip me up this one. K Thanks Bye.

  4. I love the colors and the cute, sassy pinstripes, but I love, love, love the model's makeup. It's perfectly retro for the dress style.
